Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy my photographs. I live in Milland with my wife Eilish and nine year old daughter Rhiannon and I work as an airline pilot.   As a keen photographer for over thirty years I love the challenge of capturing beautiful images of people, places and events.

Photography is not about f-stops, shutter speeds and technology, it's about capturing emotion and mood. The great photographer Don McCullin said: “Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.” That desire to capture feeling, mood and atmosphere is at the heart of my work.

This year my photographs have been recognised internationally and are on display in the Pentax worldwide artist gallery. In the autumn I placed in the top 5 submissions at the Photographer's Academy, the leading European professional photographic organisation.

After thirty years behind the camera I have established a small well equipped photographic studio in Milland with high quality backdrops and studio lighting which has enabled me to be more creative with portraiture.

For shoots I sometimes bring in a professional make-up artist and hair stylist who trained at Vidal Sassoon in London and was chief beautician on the QE2.

Alongside portraits and models I shoot aviation, landscapes and architecture and am pleased to offer a small selection of the landscapes for purchase in local galleries.
